Our mission is to continue providing the most luxurious service to our esteemed customers, and to continue celebrating their special events with them by bringing the finest jewelry to their fingertips
La Marquise was launched in 1995, by Mr. Ibrahim Al Alamy (owner and CEO), and has since flourished into over two decades worth of distinction.
Our diligence to excellence and our love for jewelry allowed us to emerge into the commercial scene in two very vital locations: Layla Gallery in 1995, home to some of the finest jewelry brands, and in Safir International Hotel in 1997, which frequently hosted some of the most influential guests.
Throughout the past two decades, the once one-unit sized store grew into the largest jewelry store in the Layla Gallery Complex until today.
Three generations work diligently to nurture this family business and to develop it into further expansion. The management, sales, and design teams have all flourished substantially from the beginning of the La Marquise journey, to bring only the finest of jewelry and unique pieces to their customers.
As far back as 1995, a specialized team has always attended international jewelry exhibitions to select the finest jewelry for display in the La Marquise showrooms. It is through this process that La Marquise became the first jewelry company to bring specific trends into Kuwait, such as the wedding band and ring together as “twins”.
La Marquise is synonymous with passion for jewelry and refined designs, and aims to continue working at such high expectation and standards.
CERTIFICATIONS
Gemological Institute of America
Established in 1931, GIA is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. A public benefit, nonprofit institute, GIA is the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry. Because we at La Marquise understand that knowledge is power, we are constantly keen on providing our staff members with knowledge in the field of gemology, jewelry, and jewelry sales. Our staff has successfully undergone the rigors gemology training and been certified by the GIA.
De Beers, Diamond Promotion
Alongside certificates in gemology, our sales team has also received trainings in sales techniques for luxury goods, and have attended seminars on the same topic. The team has been granted individual certificates by the De Beers Diamond Promotion Services in Diamond Jewelry Sales techniques.
COLLABORATION

Because we believe that innovation is a product of collaboration we have developed a design oriented branch to La Marquise. With talented in house jewelry designers, and a collaboration with several companies that have executed our designs with the upmost proficiency and care for detail. The most notable of these companies, is Noble Jewelry LTD with a collaboration history that dates back to 1998.
We have designed jewelry sets to compliment our clients’ visions, as well as various occasion oriented collections, such as Mothers Day, Valentines Day, new born gifts, graduation gifts, alongside other occasions.
Our design team is always keen on developing designs that compliment current design trends whilst maintaining the opulent beauty of the stones they are working with.
